South West Coast Path

Originally created by coastguards patrolling the south west peninsula looking  out for smugglers, the South West Coast Path covers an amazing 630 miles of coastal walks, starting at Minehead in Somerset and running along the coastline of Exmoor, North Devon, then following the entire coastline of Cornwall, back into Devon on the south coast into Dorset, ending at Poole Harbour.

We support the South West Coast Path at Little Trevothan, and it has been great to welcome so many walkers from many different countries this season.  Some have arrived on their own, or with a friend, some with dogs, and some in groups.  Some have arrived in camper vans, and others have pitched up a tent and spent a day or two (some longer) exploring the coast path around Coverack.  All have had a fantastic time exploring the stunning coastline, have embraced the Cornish weather (hot or otherwise), and it has been a pleasure to meet you all.

We offer great nightly rates for hikers.  If you fancy completing part of the 630 miles of coastal path around Coverack do stop by and see us at Little Trevothan where you will be assured of a warm welcome and a hot drink!

Launch of Little Trevothan’s Website

Little Trevothan Camping & Caravan Park and Hoot Digital Marketing are delighted to announce the launch of Little Trevothan’s new website. The Martin Family, who took over this holiday park this season, asked Clare Topham at Hoot Digital Marketing to create and design a new website.

Little Trevothan Camping & Caravan Park is a family run site. Mark and Sue Martin and family have thrown themselves into their new venture and are loving every minute of it!  Little Trevothan is situated on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, just outside the picturesque fishing village of Coverack.  The seaside village is under a mile along the lane, and retains much of its original charm and atmosphere. If you wish to hire a holiday caravan, or bring your tent or touring motorhome/caravan, you can be sure of a very warm welcome from the family.

Clare, owner of Hoot Digital Marketing, created our website which reflects the branding of the park, giving potential holiday makers all the information required about the park and it’s surroundings. The website has functionality built in to ensure a high reach to potential customers, sharing via social media, booking and payment of holidays, a contact page, and much more.

Check out Hoot Digital Marketing for your website and social media needs!

News

Little Trevothan opened on 1st March, when we enjoyed meeting some of our regular visitors who hold a seasonal pitch or a static caravan on the park.  It has been lovely meeting you all.  Behind the scenes the whole family have been working hard since January, to get the park ready for the new season.

We were thrilled to see our new signs go up at the end of February, thanks to Richard at R H Signs .  We would also like to thank Callum for designing our stunning new park logo, which is looking great on the signs and paperwork.  Our good friend Clare from Hoot Digital Marketing  created this fabulous new website, with a bit of interference from us!

We must also thank our friends May and Martin, for rolling up their sleeves in early February, with caravan maintenance, digging and decorating the reception to name but a few.  We look forward to seeing you again soon when the project will be putting up our new climbing frame!  Huge thanks too to Sallie, Jon and girls for spending a week of your Easter holiday with us, painting, repairing, grass cutting and hedge trimming, and for doubling the size of our office space!  Thank you to Hannah, Emily and Megan for the photo-shoot around the park in preparation for our new brochure out soon, and the gallery on this website.  And not forgetting Sophie and Bonnie, the Springer Spaniels, for promoting our dog friendly site, and the beach at Coverack.  We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Our Dave has taken on revamping the Games room, stripping back the floor, painting, and creating wall designs.  We have a pool table with new lights, a retro arcade games machine, new seating, fabulous 50″ Freeview television, table football machine, games to borrow and books to read.  Plus a couple of new picnic tables to enjoy the sunny weather outside.  Have a look at the gallery below.

We have already taken many bookings and it has been great talking to people who return to Little Trevothan year after year.  We look forward to meeting you all, and welcoming many more throughout the season.
