LITTLE TREVOTHAN PARK RULES - HOLIDAY GUESTS

These Park Rules are in place for the good management of Little Trevothan Camping and Caravan Park and the benefit of all who use it.  These rules form part of the contract between us for your holiday and are part of our booking Terms and Conditions.  The expression 'you'/'your' refers to all members of your party, and you must make sure that everyone is aware of these Park Rules.  The most up to date Park Rules will always be available on our website.


SAFETY AND SECURITY

1.     You must use the park safely and should not cause danger to others.

2.     You must obey all health and safety notices displayed on the park and act on the reasonable instructions of park staff in matters of health and safety.

3.     You are solely responsible for securing your accommodation.

4.    You must ensure that everyone in your party is familiar with the location of the fire points and the contents of the fire notices displayed at each point.


VISITORS TO THE PARK

5.     Only people lawfully visiting with your permission have permission to enter the park and must report to reception on arrival.

6.     Any visitors may not arrive before 8am and must leave the park by 10pm.

7.    It is your responsibility to ensure that your visitors and all occupiers of your accommodation adhere to these Park Rules.

8.    A visitor's car must be parked only in the allocated parking spaces for visitors outside reception.


UTILITIES

9.     If you experience any problem with the park’s electrical, gas or water system, please contact us. You must not attempt to work on any part of the park’s electrical, gas or water system yourself; this includes any installations on the pitch.

10.   You must only put toilet tissue (not wipes) into the drainage system. Items such as cooking fat, nappies, sanitary towels, baby wipes etc. will block our cess pit system.


VEHICLES/DRIVING/PARKING

11.    You must insure all vehicles used on the park as for use on the public road, including items towed such as boats, and you must hold a full current driving licence.  Learner drivers are not permitted to drive on the park.

12.     You must not carry out any work or repairs to a vehicle on the park.  A recognised breakdown service may attend in the event of a breakdown.

13.   Quad bikes, trials bikes and powered scooters are not permitted on the park.

14.   We permit cars onto the park for the purpose of access to your caravan or pitch only. Accordingly, save to the extent that you may need to do so because of a disability, you must not drive cars round the park for other purposes such as visiting other locations on the park.

15.   Driving on the park is restricted to the park roads and you must adhere to the one-way system at all times.  .  You must drive all vehicles on the park carefully adhering to the speed limit of 5mph, taking great care for pedestrians, children and pets when parking and moving off.  This includes our lane entering and leaving the park.

16.   Electric cars cannot be charged at the park by any means, including the use of an electricity supply or hook up. Options for charging electric cars are displayed in reception. EV charging is not currently available on the park.

17.  You must only park in the permitted parking spaces.  We allow a maximum of one car to be parked alongside your holiday caravan or pitch, and any other car must be parked by reception, including those belonging to visitors.

18.   Please be aware that the security barrier to the Camping Field closes at quiet time (10pm) after which time vehicles must be parked outside reception.


BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS (SEE ALSO TERMS AND CONDITIONS)

18.   You should respect the privacy of other users of the park and keep noise to an absolute minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am.

19.   You may only consume alcoholic drinks within the boundaries of your pitch or on the park’s licenced areas.

20.   You must not use a drone, powered model aircraft or any other powered flying object on the park.

21.   You may not ride bicycles or scooters or similar so as to cause a nuisance or undue noise.

22.   It is illegal to smoke or use e-cigarettes inside enclosed public buildings on the park, including our holiday caravans.  This would be a serious breach of your contract with us which may lead to you being required to leave the park.


CHILDREN/RECREATION

23.   Children must be supervised whilst on the park and are the responsibility of their parent or guardian during their stay.

24.   Children must not play on the play area/playing field before 8am or after the park closing time displayed.

25.   Children under the age of 16 should not be left unsupervised in your accommodation or on the park.

26.    An adult must accompany small children to the toilet block, if used.

27.   The area for playing ball, flying kites and other games is the playing field. There is not space, and it is not safe to play ball or other games on your pitch or alongside your holiday caravan.

28.   You may not use any powered model car or similar toy on the park.

HOLIDAY CARAVAN ACCOMMODATION

30.    You are responsible for the contents of the accommodation whilst it is let to you. If you leave the accommodation in a messy or untidy state, you will be charged for the extra cleaning at an hourly rate of £20. All damages and losses are chargeable at the discretion of the park owners, and should be reported to the park reception before your departure. 

31.    You are requested to bring your own waterproof mattress protectors if required, as you will be liable for the replacement of any mattress which is soiled by anyone in your party.


FIRES AND BARBECUES

32.     Barbecues and contained fire pits/bowls are permitted, but you must keep them off the ground to protect our grass.  Concrete blocks are provided near your pitch or caravan for this.

33.     You must not place barbecues or fire pits/bowls under trees.

34.     We do not allow open fires.

35.     Ash from fire pits/bowls and barbecues must be disposed of safely when cold in the ash bin in the refuse area.  Ash must not be disposed of in the hedgerows.

 

THE PARK - GENERAL

36.   You must not cut any trees or hedges on the park. If you find any tree or hedge to be a nuisance, please inform us.

37.   You must not tie anything to a tree or shrub, or dig any hole at the park.

38.  You must use the Biffa refuse bins provided, using recycling bins where appropriate, and must not leave refuse outside your caravan or on your pitch.

39.     For any lost property, please contact the park reception as soon as possible.  Any unclaimed lost property will be disposed of after one month.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

40.    We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional purposes and we occasionally receive requests from third parties to film on the park. Should you not wish to appear in any material, please pay attention to the notices we display when pictures are being taken.

41.   Where others may reasonably expect privacy, you must obtain their agreement before taking a photograph in which they are identifiable.
