DISCOVER THE LIZARD PENINSULA . . . . . AND BEYOND!

An area of outstanding natural beauty, the Lizard Peninsula is the most southerly point of the British mainland and boasts its own unique landscape and stunning views..  One of the best places in Cornwall for seeing some wildlife, particularly marine life such as seals, dolphins and even the odd whale.   With dramatic cliffs shaped by the Atlantic, the Lizard features white sandy beaches and clear turquoise seas.  You will discover secret coves and fishing villages and will love the "laid back in time" vibe, whilst still enjoying water sports and more adventurous activities.

Beyond the Lizard, West Cornwall is renowned for its mystical charm, rugged coastline  and cream teas (jam first obviously!)  Boasting not only the most southerly point, but also the most westerly at Lands End.  With lovely towns, villages, beaches, quaint shops, restaurants with fabulous views, and fish and chips by the sea, what's not to like!

Have a look at The Wild Lizard magazine for 2024.  Lots of lovely information about our peninsula and what you can expect to find here.

Visit Cornwall produced this great video of The Lizard Peninsula in 2013.  Whilst almost 10 years ago, little changes on the Lizard.  Enjoy.

"Little Trevothan is a lovely campsite with excellent facilities.  We'll be back!"
"We stayed in a holiday caravan and couldn't fault it in any way. Loved the outdoor decking and seating area. We visited Lizard point, Coverack, Porthleven and Mullion Cove all of which were just a short distance. "
