Additional Cars - An Alternative Idea

DO YOU REALLY NEED TO BRING AN EXTRA CAR ON HOLIDAY?

So here's the thing . . . .

Little Trevothan is a small holiday park with very large camping and touring emplacements.  Each of our pitches are a minimum of 12m by 8m and this should accommodate your unit (tent, caravan etc), and your car.   Our holiday caravan pitches also have a parking space for one car.

During our High Season which runs during the children's school holidays in July and August, when our holiday park is at its fullest, it is extremely difficult to find additional space for guests asking to bring an extra car with them.

The only space we currently have for additional parking is our driveway which just holds safely a handful of cars.  In High Season especially where guests are coming and going all the time, some with motorhomes and some towing large caravans, this space is needed for them to be able to park up safely.  It is for this reason we have decided to restrict the number of extra cars on the park this year and have made those unavailable to book in High Season.

SOME POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

You are most welcome to include a trailer of a reasonable size which can sit at the back of your pitch at no extra cost.

Some guests have part of their luggage sent to us by courier to save space.   We are happy for you to do this - please let us know when to expect deliveries.   We have had tents, awnings and inflatable kayaks, and guests have got some very reasonable prices from companies such as Evri, much cheaper than fuel for an extra car!

The nearest car park is at North Corner on the other side of the bay in Coverack.

If you have no way around this, please call us or email to let us know.  We realise that some bookings are for large families who may travel from different parts of the country to holiday together, or some guests may only stay part of the holiday and therefore need their own car.   In this instance there would be an additional cost for an extra car as there is in Low and Mid seasons.

Thank you.
